Views allows the screen to follow the character and whatever is needed to follow and limits what can be seen. There are a total of 8 usable views for every room at any given time.
You can set views under the room properties under the views tab.
Enable use of views, checks if you going to use views(yes)
Visible when room starts, means are you going to be using this view when you get to this room or enable it manually.
Under View in Room
X,shifts the x coordinate of where the view starts(left, top corner)
y,shifts the y coordinate of where the view starts(left, top corner)
W, changes the width of the viewing area(default 640)
H, changes the height of the viewing area(default 480)
Port on Screen
Like View in Room but instead locates when the "view" is placed. Generally used for two or more player options where the second view is placed left or below the first view. Basically limits the view to a certain part of the screen and uses (x,y) as the top left part of the view location and W and H is the area of the screen used to display it. Default W=640 H=480.
Object Following
Tell what object the view is following. Default <no object>
Hbor: Tell how far the followed object in X coordinate from the outside of the view for it to follow.
Vbor: Tell how far the followed object in Y coordinate from the outside of the view for it to follow.
